Nanette Simmons

Nanette has been a middle school science teacher since she began her teaching career 15 years ago. She has taught both 7th and 8th grader during that time. Nanette received her Bachelors of Science degree in math and science from Eastern Michigan University. She also earned a Masters in the Art of Teaching from Marygrove College.

Nanette is also the mother of 3 children ranging in age from 10-15yrs.
 

Dave Chomet

Dave has worked in education since graduating from the University of Michigan in 1990. He began his career as a 4th grade teacher in the Detroit Public Schools. For the past 15 years Dave has been both a teacher and counselor at the middle school working with students in grades 6, 7, and 8 in Farmington Hills, Michigan. Dave has been a middle school counselor for the past 7 years and has served as the chairperson for the district counseling department for 3 of those years.

Dave also has two graduate degrees. He has a Masters degree from Wayne State University in Education, Evaluation and Research as well as a Masters in Counseling from Eastern Michigan University.
